Alice May (Porter) Grey

Alice May Grey, age 73, of Kendallville, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.  Mrs. Grey was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 26, 1943, to the late Roy Porter and Dora V. (Coleman) Workman. She married Harold Alan Grey on December 27, 1962 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 1988. Alice retired after 15 years as a housekeeper from the Best Western Kendallville Inn.

Survivors include: 
Son, Chris and Sheryl Grey of Houston, Texas.
Daughter, Julie Grey of Kendallville.
Five grandchildren: Stephen Cooley, Robert, Mary, Helen, and Clara Grey.
Sister, Patricia Bherns of Kendallville.
Brother, Michael and Donita Workman of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Sarah Grey.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville with Rev. Percy Young officiating.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Burial will take place at Christian Union Cemetery near Garrett.
