Arley Crum

ARLEY GLEN CRUM, age 63, of Fort Wayne, passed on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at his home.  He was born in Moorehead, Kentucky on August 24, 1951 to Kenneth A. Crum and Mary Virginia (Kelly) Crum.  He graduated from New Haven High School in 1968.  Arley retired as an electrician with Fort Wayne State Developmental Center.  He was a life member of the National Rifle Association.  Arley’s passion in life was hunting and being outdoors.  He was also very artistic and enjoyed painting and refurbishing old furniture.  Arley also enjoyed hanging out in his “man cave” and staying in close contact with friends and family.  

He will be missed greatly by his wife, Debra Crum of Fort Wayne; mother, Mary Crum of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Danielle M. (Jake) Ruch of New Haven and Nichole (Matthew) Radick of Mesa, Arizona; sister, Rita (Les) Marcum of Missoula, Missouri; and three grandchildren.  Arley was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Crum.

A tribute will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, April 25, 2015 at East Haven Tavern.  There will also be a memorial service at 2:30pm Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Waynedale Park at Koons and Elzey Streets for Arley and his father-in-law, Bob Brown.  Memorials may be made to the National Rifle Association.
