BILL BRYANT, age 74, of Kendallville, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.
Mr. Bryant was born in LaGrange County, Indiana on October 19, 1935 to the late Raymond Royal and Alberta  (Martin) Bryant.
He graduated from Kendallville High School in 1954 and married Bonnie Kay White on March 24, 1967 in Ligonier, Indiana.
Bill retired from Silgan Plastics in Ligonier after more than 40 years of service. He also worked at the Shell Station in Kendallville for 6 years after he retired.
Bill enjoyed traveling the west, panning and mining for gold. He liked to research his ancestry, collect coins, play golf, go bowling, and fishing and hunting. Bill was a gardener and he enjoyed going mushroom hunting. He was a past chairman of the Marshmallow Festival in Ligonier, past member of the Ligioner Jaycees and past president of the P.T.O. He also was a member of the First Christian Church in Kendallville.
 
Survivors include:
His wife of 43 years, Bonnie Bryant of Kendallville.
Daughter, Mindy and David Kyle of Goshen.
Daughter, Linda Matchett of Ligonier.
Daughter, Lisa and Mark Teders of Avilla.
Daughter, Beth Brown of Churubusco.
Son, Michael Bryant of Fort Wayne.
14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Brother, Jim and Joan Bryant of Wolcottville.
Step brother, Bob and Carol Bryant of Connecticut.
Several nieces and nephews.
 
He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Anthony and Kaelie Cusick and his brother, Harold Bryant.
 
Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2010, from 2:00-7:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home.
Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Robert Farmer.
Burial will be at South Milford Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be David Kyle, Mark Teders, Michael Bryant, Jr., Matthew Bryant, Seth Brown and Austin Teders.
Preferred Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or to Parkview Noble Hospice.
