BERNARD DEWAYNE “BUTCH” KELLEY, II, age 51, of Kendallville, died on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Kendallville Manor Health Care Center.  Butch was born in Decatur, Indiana on December 30, 1963 to Bernard DeWayne Kelley and RitaLe (Glentzer) Randol.  He graduated from East Noble High School in 1981.  Butch was a heavy equipment operator and employed with Indiana Hardwoods in Middlebury for 25 years until 2009.  He coached Rome City Little League Youth Baseball for many years and loved hunting, fishing, ceramics, cooking out, and spending time with his family. He attended Liberty Freewill Baptist Church in Wolcottville.

His father, Bernard and Sharon Kelley of Monroe.
Step father, Jim Randol of Rome City.
Sister, Donna and Jerrod Geiger of Albion.
Sister, Charolette and Todd LaVigne of Rome City.
Brother, Jim Randol, Jr. of Rome City.
Sister, Stephanie Randol of Kendallville.
Sister, Annette and Scott Ziegler of Ligonier.
Brother, Bryan and Angie Kelley of Harlan.
Brother, Brandon and Rachael Kelley of Roanoke.
Brother, Jeremy Call of Decatur.
Grandmother, Kate Randol of Kendallville.
Aunt, Bonita Harper of Kendallville.
Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, RitaLe Randol, who died May 11, 2012; brother, Dustin Randol, who died in 1983; maternal grandparents, Charles and Myrtle Mintch; aunt, Ronni Price; maternal grandparents, Freedom and Martha Kelley; and paternal grandfather, Earl Randol.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 7:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville with visitation from 5:00-7:00pm.  Pastor Regan Ford, from the First Church of God, will officiate the funeral service.

Burial will be later at Orange Cemetery near Rome City. 

Preferred memorials may be made to to his family or to the American Diabetes Association.
