Carl William Brink

CARL WILLIAM BRINK, 67, passed away Sunday, April, 12, 2015. Born September 18, 1947 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Carl L. Brink and Catherine (Ryan) Brink. He was an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church parish for most of his life. Carl attended Central Catholic High School where he played basketball. He went to college at Xavier University of Cincinnati where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He coached the basketball team at St. Jude Catholic School. Carl was a member of Rotary, active in the church and his bowling team. His weekends were often spent at Notre Dame football games and spending time with his neighbors.

He is survived by his children, Carl Brink of Clearwater, Florida; Peter (Julie) Brink of Portland, Oregon; and Santa (Joshuea) Fow of Walton, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Ian Brink, Colin Brink and Dillon Brink; his upcoming grandchild, William Fow; sisters, Carol Eifert, Barbara Bangert, Martha Hernandez, and Margaret Peterson; and 70 nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Brink; and sister, Mary Kay Snyder.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at 10:30 am at St. Jude Catholic Church on the corner of State and Randallia Streets in Fort Wayne, with visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided after the service.
