Carolyn Ann Laisure, age 83, died Monday, February 12, 2018 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. Mrs. Laisure was born in Kendallville, Indiana on June 6, 1934 to the late Roscoe and Dorothy (Nelson) Amos. She graduated from Kendallville High School in 1952 and married Max Darl Laisure on May 22, 1955 at the United Methodist Church in Kendallville. Max preceded her in death on October 31, 2012. Carolyn was employed with Campbell & Fetter Bank where she was the first drive thru teller. Later on she worked at East Noble High School for many years in the front office. She and Max enjoyed the many winters they spent together in Englewood, Florida. She was a member of Trinity Church United Methodist and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, tending to her flower gardens, and her cat, Pepper.

Son, Steve Laisure of Kendallville.
Son, Scott Laisure of Elkhart.
Daughter-in-law, Linda Laisure of Adams Lake, near Wolcottville.
Four grandchildren: A.J. Laisure of Kendallville; Carrie Ann Laisure of Kendallville; Devon Laisure of Fort Wayne; and Bryce Laisure of Adams Lake. Four great grandchildren: Four great grandchildren: Aubrey, Cassie, Keegan, and Kynzie.
Private family services will take place Friday at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Stephens officiating the service. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville. Memorial donations may be sent to Trinity Church United Methodist. Send a condolence online at hitefuneralhome.com.
