Chales H. Brumbaugh

CHARLES H. BRUMBAUGH, age 97, of rural Kendallville, died on Monday, July 20, 2015 at home.  Mr. Brumbaugh was born in Noble County, Indiana, near Green Center on December 7, 1917 to the late Vernon "Dick"  Brumbaugh and Anna (Savoie) Brumbaugh.  Charley was a lifetime Noble County farmer specializing in row crops and colored fat cattle.  He started farming at the young age of 15 and didn't retire until he was 95 years old.  Over all those years of farming, Charley fed about 9600 head of cattle.  He also drove school bus for the East Noble School Corporation for 22 years.

Survivors include: 
His wife, Kathryn (Hart) Brumbaugh of Kendallville.
Son, Harry and Rose Brumbaugh of Ashley.
Daughter, Connie Brumbaugh of Kendallville.
Daughter, Karen and Bruce Parks of Rome City.
Four grandchildren: Joshua Parks, Tausha Mapes, Caleb Parks, and Graham Parks.
Many great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Irene Cory, Dorothy Campbell, and Anna Jean Brumbaugh; and his brother, Robert "Lam" Brumbaugh.

Private burial will be held at Sweet Cemetery near Albion.
