Charles Thomas Tuffley, age 61, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at his rural Corunna residence. Mr. Tuffley was born January 13, 1956 in Boscobel, Wisconsin to the late Jesse Claire Tuffley and Monna Marie (Moore) Tuffley. He graduated from East Noble High School in 1975 and was employed with Lewger Machine in Kendallville for 37 years. He married Melissa Lou Coney on August 31, 2010 in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, Green Bay Packers fan and he loved riding his Harley. Charles was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend and will be greatly missed.

Son, Ben and Ashley Tuffley of Kendallville.
Son, Derek Tuffley of Kendallville.
Son, Charles D. Tuffley of Goshen.
Daughter, Danielle Tuffley of Goshen.
Step son, Patrick and Amber Biddle of Corunna.
Step daughter, Jessi and Carissa Albright of Goshen.
Six grandsons: Collin Tuffley, Travis Tuffley, Damien Tuffley, Simon Tuffley, Oliver Tuffley and Jesse Tuffley.
Seven step grandchildren: Rylee, Gavyn, Delaynee, Anthony, Preston, Layla, and Austin.
Brother, Robert and Pam Tuffley of Big Long Lake.
Brother, Ronald and Sharon Tuffley of Stroh.
Sister, Patricia and Dr. Michael Cox of Kendallville.
Sister, Janis and John Engerman of Columbia City.
Aunts, Eileen (Moore) Sutton of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin and Joan Moore of Janesville, Wisconsin.
Mother-in-law, Patricia Coney of Corunna.
Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charles was also preceded in death by his son, Travis Tuffley in October of 1992.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor David Bolen officiating.
Burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
Memorial donations may be made to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary or Kendallville Parks and Recreation.
