Craig D. Watson, age 54, of Kendallville, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 21, 2015.  He was born on July 6, 1961 in Marshall, Michigan to Harlow K. and Maxine (Caudill) Watson.  Craig graduated from East Noble High School in 1980.  He married Laura Louise Schwab on October 20, 1984 at Trinity Church United Methodist in Kendallville.  Craig worked in the past for Courier of Kendallville for 16 years.  He enjoyed collecting knives, making stained glass, building model ships and tanks and shooting long guns.  He loved Jesus, reading his Bible and praying for friends and family.

Survivors include:
His wife, Laura Watson of Kendallville.
Father, Harlow Watson of Kendallville.
Brother, Tim Watson of Kendallville.
Sister, Jodi (Mark) Brayton of Kendallville.

His nephew, Michael (Coral) Watson of Austin, Texas;  his nieces, Kayliegh (Brian Wilson) Watson of Champaign, Illinois and Emily Brayton of Kendallville; and a great niece, Alaina Watson of Albion.

His uncles,  James Caudill of Battle Creek, Michigan and Jerry Caudill of Charlotte, Michigan and Bob (Doris) Watson of Battle Creek, Michigan;  his aunts, Bea Walters of Kendallville; Naomi Watson of Kendallville and Carol (Gene) Logan of Burwick, Louisiana.

Cousins, Chris (Becky) Clugston of Kendallville, Jenny (Brett) Helbert of Butler,  Josh (Robin) Caudill and Sarah (Dan) Crosby of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine in 2011 and an aunt, that he was very close to, Jeri Clugston-Gussman in 2013.

Visitation will be Friday from 3-7:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00pm at Hite Funeral Home.

Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Jack Crothers.

Memorial donations are to his family.
