David Wayne Kammerer, age 48, of rural Kendallville died unexpectedly on Sunday November 27, 2016 at his residence. David was born in Kendallville, Indiana on April 1, 1968, son of the late Jack Norman Kammerer (2000) and Betty "Bets" Louise (Beckwith) Kammerer.  He married Laura Denise Blackshire on August 15, 1997 and he was employed with Smokercraft in New Paris since 2000. 

Survivors include: 
Wife, Laura Kammerer of Kendallville.
Son, Gary Heiman of Auburn.
Son, Brandon Jones of Kendallville.
Daughter, Sosha Kammerer of Avilla.
Three grandchildren: Sora Jane Cantwell of Avilla; Kyra Mae Jones of Kendallville; and Bael Sylvanus Cantwell of Avilla; and expected grandson in March.
Mother, Betty “Bets” Kammerer of Kendallville.
Sister, Melinda and Denis Oster of Waterloo. 
Sister, Dawn and Troy Sutton of South Milford.
Sister, Monica and Jimmy Agee of Kendallville.
Mother and father-in-law, Marsha and Michael Maggart of Cromwell.
Many nieces and nephews.
David was also preceded in death by his infant brother, Mark Alan Kammerer.
 
Visitation will take place Friday, December 2, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street in Kendallville.  No funeral service.
