Donald "Don Edwards

Donald "Don" Edwards, WWII Veteran, 93, went to his Lord on November 20, 2017. He was at Ashton Creek Nursing Facility with his wife, Marilyn of 52 years, his daughter Lynn, and granddaughter Sarah, at his bedside, when he passed. He is loved and in our hearts, we keep him always.  Don was an avid bridge player and voracious reader of all types of novels. He loved playing tennis and golf and enjoying time with his wife, family and friends. Don served in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic in World War II and Korea. He enjoyed a long career with the Ohio State Patrol and worked several years at Close Insulation in Ft. Wayne. Don attended Blackhawk Ministry with Marilyn and found fellowship and worship he deeply valued.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn; children, Sherry (Ray) Dingledine, Lee, Neal, and Lynn; also 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. 

Don is predeceased by his parents, oldest son Dane who passed earlier this year, two brothers and one sister.

Per Don's request there will be no service.
