Dorothy Marie (Richter) Reichwage

Dorothy Marie (Richter) Reichwage, age 96, of Fort Wayne passed away on January 29, 2017 at Kingston Care in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Reichwage was born on November 7, 1920 in Fort Wayne to the late Paul and Josephine (Smith) Richter.  She graduated from South Side High School and then continued her education at International Business College in Fort Wayne where she earned an Associates Degree.  In 1945, she married Otto Reichwage at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.  In 1979, Dorothy retired from Emmaus Lutheran Church as a church secretary.  Dorothy was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.  For several years Dorothy and a few high school friends would gather monthly.  She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, and exercising with her son at the YMCA.  
Survivors include:
Son, Dr. David Reichwage of Fort Wayne.
Son, Bill Reichwage of Fort Wayne.
Grandson, Dr. Brett David Reichwage of Pensacola, Florida.
3 Great-grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00am at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 8626 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804 with calling one hour prior from 10:00am-11:00am.
Burial will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery.
Officiating the funeral services will be Pastor Roy Olsen.
Memorial donations may be directed to Emmaus Lutheran Church and or Emmaus Lutheran School.
