DWAYNE SPARKMAN, age 52, of Kendallville, died on Tuesday, August 25, 2015.  Dwayne was born in Garrett, Kentucky on July 28, 1963 to the late Alfo Ray Slone and Bernice (Sparkman) Coburn.  He graduated from East Noble High School in 1981.  Dwayne was a journeyman electrician and member of the U.E.W. of Fort Wayne.  He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, playing golf and working on houses. He loved spending time with his family and eating out at Red Lobster.  When he was younger, Dwayne was a Golden Glove boxer at the Kendallville Youth Center.

Survivors include: 
His mother and step father, Bernice and Jack Coburn of Spencer, Indiana.
Son, Josh Sparkman of Kendallville.
Daughter, Ashlynn Sparkman of Kendallville.
Grandson, Derek Collins of Kendallville.
Brother, Brian and Joyce Sparkman of Ligonier.
Sister, Marina and Larry Cloud of Michigan.
Sister, Kathy Williams of Nappanee.
Sister, Tracy Williams of Ligonier.
Sister, Lena Williams of Cromwell.
Brother, Aaron Williams of Cromwell.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph "Joey" Sparkman, who died in October of 2004; and his brother, Paul Sparkman, who died in September of 1987.

Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2015 from 3:00-8:00pm at Bethel Christian Baptist Church, U.S. Hwy 6 at S.R. 9 north, Kendallville.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00pm at Bethel Christian Baptist Church.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Billy Smith.

Burial will be at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
