Edward Aaron Krause

Edward Aaron Krause, age 82, of Kendallville, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his residence.  Mr. Krause was born on January 29, 1933 in Brooklyn, Michigan, to the late August Krause and Mabel (Drew) Krause.  He graduated from Brooklyn High School in Brooklyn, Michigan and earned his Master's degree from the University of Chicago.  Ed worked in real estate as a property owner and manager for 15 years before retiring.  He was well known in the community for his involvement with the Republican Party.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Kendallville. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Karen and Dan Seitz of Kendallville.
Son, Karl and Pat Krause of Kendallville.
Son, Kurt and Judy Krause of Phoeniz, Arizona.
Son, Kevin Krause of Chicago, Illinois.
Granddaughter, Brandy and Greg King of Kendallville.
Grandson, Justin and Naomi Krause of Kendallville.
Grandson, Casey Seitz of Kendallville.
Great granddaughters, Kierstin King, Abigail Krause, Kayla Morris all of Kendallville.
Great-Grandson, Dylan Krause of Kendallville.
Spouse, Sally Krause of Kendallville.

Ed was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Thompson) Krause; brother, Ray McAulley; two sisters, Nancy Campbell and Mary Jane Wagner.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 12:00-2:00pm at the Elks Lodge, 120 Weston Avenue, Kendallville.
