Evan Brian Schuman, age 20, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 12, 2017 surrounded by his family.  Evan was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 6, 1996 to Brian Lee and Melissa Marie (Adair) Schuman.  He graduated from East Noble High School in 2016 and was a member of the Brimfield United Methodist Church. Evan fought his disability with spina bifida in a very positive way and he lived his life to the fullest. He volunteered his time with the Noble County Humane Society in Kendallville and Paws & Claws Bookstore in Howe. He loved cruising around the neighborhood in the wheelchair and growing vegetables in the garden for his sister’s roadside vegetable stand. Evan was loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.

Survivors include:
His parents, Brian and Missy Schuman of Brimfield.
Sister, Aubree Schuman of Brimfield.
Maternal grandparents, Larry and Nancy Adair of Brimfield.
Paternal grandparents, Charles and Ann Schuman of Corunna.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Brimfield United Methodist Church with Pastor Christopher White officiating.
Burial will take place at Orange Cemetery near Brimfield.
Memorial donations may be made to the Noble County Humane Society.
Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home of Kendallville.
