Henry Baker Obituary

Henry L. Baker, age 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Parkview Randalia Hospital in Fort Wayne.  Mr. Baker was born on December 22, 1945 in Tennessee. He served his country honorably with the United States Army.  On March 25, 1995, he married Nanette S. Baker at their gazebo that he built at their residence in Franklin, Georgia.  He worked for General Motors for 10 years.  Henry retired from Knight Truck driving.  He spent 30 years total as a truck driver.  Henry and his wife are both members of New Hope Baptist Church in Fort Wayne.  He loved gardening, woodworking, and making things.  He enjoyed spending all his time with his children and grandchildren who he loved dearly.  
Survivors include:
Spouse, Nanette Baker of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Tina Craig of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Heather and Billy Williams of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Nicole and Ryan York of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Deana and Adam Satterfield of Fort Wayne.
Son, Sonny Kirkland of Georgia.
Son, Chuck Baker of Georgia.
Son, Tony Baker of Georgia.
Grandchildren, Harmony, Hope, Rilee, and Nate York, Jessie and Jamie McCord, Maddison and Luke Satterfield, Melody and Ashley Rose, Haylie and Brandon Williams, Cheyenne, Cayman, Weston, Trevor, and Rhett Baker.
5 Great-grandchildren.
Sister, Virgina Childers of Fort Myers, Florida.
Brother, Joe Baker of Tennessee.
Preceded in death by parents, son; Charles Rose, siblings; Betty, Clara, Helen, Joe, Frank, William, David, John, and Tom.  

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 3:30-5:30pm at New Hope Baptist Church, 8918 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Janaury 10, 2018 at 5:30pm at New Hope Baptist Church.
Officiating the services will be Pastor Rob Bogle.
