Irvanna (Walker) Ramsey

IRVANNA MARIE RAMSEY, age 80, of Churubusco died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Mrs. Ramsey was born June 25, 1935 in Elma, Washington to the late Irvin and Jessie Pearl(Meyers) Walker.  She married Edward Leon Ramsey on February 10, 1953 in Port Angeles, Washington.  Edward preceded her in death on May 15, 2015.  Irvanna was employed in the past with CVS in Churubusco and Richard's Restaurant in Kendallville.  She also worked in the cafeteria at the Churubusco High School.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Columbia City chapter.  Irvanna enjoyed crocheting in her free time and her family was the center of her life.

Daughter, Juanita Lynn and Nick Gordon of Churubusco.
Daughter, Ruth Ann and Robert Earls of Fort Wayne.
Son, Kelvin Allen and Robin Ramsey of Churubusco.
Son, Edward K. and Lise Ramsey of Churubusco.
Son, Leonard Keith and Janet Ramsey of Churubusco.
Son, Kenneth Wayne and Susan Ramsey of Fort Wayne.
21 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
Brother, David and Pat Walker of South Bend, Washington.
Aunt, Thelma Jacobs of Goldendale, Washington.
Niece, Corine Robinson of Goldendale Washington.
Niece, LaJune Gray of Goldendale, Washington.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelsy; brother, Jimmy Walker; and sister, Dorothy Walker

Visitation will be Monday, June 20, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the First Baptist Church, 1357 South Randolph Street in Garrett.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church.
Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. David Mix.
Burial will be at 2:00 pm at Marion National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Eastern Star, Columbia City chapter or Mizpah Shriners of Fort Wayne.
