Jennifer Ann (Hicks) Pack, age 44, died Friday, December 15, 2017 at her residence in Angola, Indiana.  Jennifer was born in Kendallville, Indiana on November 1, 1973 to Samuel Larry Hicks and the late Ada June (Handshoe) Hicks.  Her mother preceded her in death in 2003. Jenny graduated from Prairie Heights High School in 1992; Huntington College in 1996; and was near completion of her master’s degree in special education from Indiana University, South Bend campus.  She was a special education teacher and worked with the Special Education Coop, Rome City Elementary School, Lakeland School Corporation, Topeka Elementary School, and with the Head Start program in Jackson, Michigan. She also directed the daycare program at the Auburn YMCA.  She was married to Nicholas Anthony Pack on March 20, 2010 at the Son Light Church in Angola.

Survivors include:
Husband, Nicholas Pack of Angola.
Their dogs, Emrys, Leia, Jia, and Skye and cat, Jemma.
Father, Sam and Julie Hicks of Lagrange.
Twin brother, Jeffrey and Retha Hicks of Angola.
Brother, Steven and Terri Hicks of Angola.
Brother, Randall Hicks of Ashley. 
Step sister, Alison and Marc Peterson of Kendallville.
Step brother, Charlie and Brandi Schlabach of Logansport.
Many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Jared Bignell officiating the service.
Burial will take place at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
