Jewell (Ritchie) Bolen

Jewell Bolen, age 68, of Kendallville, died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her home. Jewell was born on May 12, 1949 near Clear Creek, Kentucky to the late Ernie and Rudell (Owens) Ritchie.  She married Earl Bolen on October 23, 1999 at the Independent Baptist Church in South Milford and was a homemaker. 

Survivors include:
Her husband, Earl Bolen of Kendallville.
Daughter, Liz and Greg Haviland of Hudson.
Daughter, Nicole and Dustin Harper of Kendallville.
Son, Josh and Danielle Bolen of Kendallville.
Son, Shelton and Krystal Bolen of Kendallville.
Son, Daniel Bolen of South Milford.
Son, Caleb Bolen and his girlfriend, Ashley Ferrier both of Kendallville.
Son, Kyle Bolen of Kendallville.
12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Brother, Charles and Rose Ritchie of Stroh.
Brother, Roger and Sue Ritchie of Bronson, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Sawyer and brothers, Dempsey Ritchie and Willard Ritchie.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 anytime after 12:00 noon at Independent Baptist Church in South Milford with a service at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Independent Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Collins and Rev. Sam Weimer officiating.
Burial will follow at Brushy Chapel Cemetery with her sons and grandsons pallbearers.
