Jo Bell, age 73, died Friday, June 2, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Mrs. Bell was born June 16, 1943 in Kendallville, Indiana to the late Norman Edwin Wert and Edna Mae (Williamson) Holcomb.  She graduated valedictorian of her class from Rome City High School in 1961.  She married James Robert Bell and he preceded her in death July 12, 1985.  Jo worked at Lyle Electric in Kendallville and Bargman in Albion. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Jennifer and Dennis Kirkpatrick of Albion.
Granddaughter, Brittany and Dustin Parker of Fort Wayne.
Granddaughter, Ashley Kirkpatrick and her fiancé, Dustin Sumpter of Pierceton.
Grandson, Cody and Brooke Kirkpatrick of Albion.
Three great grandchildren: Penelope Parker, Pippa Parker, and Khloe Kirkpatrick.
Sister, Norma and Robert Wicker of Kendallville.
Brother, Walt and Jo Wert of Kendallville.
Brother, Ben and Susan Wert of Kendallville.
Sister, Susie and Bill Wallen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Three grandpuppies, Oakley, Maggie and Lily; and Max, the cat. 
She was also preceded death by her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Bill Metzger; and two brothers, Dale Wert and Ray Wert. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at South Milford Cemetery.
