John Baughman

John Lynn Baughman, age 68, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana.  John was born in Kendallville on July 3, 1948 to the late Richard John and Esther Emma Louise (Schuman) Baughman.  He was in the last graduating class of Kendallville High School in 1966.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and the Vietnam War.  He was first married to Constance Marie “Connie” Froelich on November 26, 1972 in Kendallville.  Connie preceded him in death on January 17, 2000.  He was then married Deborah (Eden) DeHority on June 28, 2003.  John was employed as a master plumber with Henning’s Plumbing and Heating of LaOtto.  He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include:
Wife, Deb Baughman of Kendallville
Daughter, Natalie Whan of Brownstown, Indiana.
Three grandchildren: Olivia, Ian, and Aaron Whan.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 7th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.  There will also be visitation at the church an hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville.  Pastor Robert Shriner will conduct the service.
Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
