Josh Lash

JOSHUA BRYANT LASH, age 37, of Kendallville died on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville, Indiana.  Josh was born in Kendallville, Indiana on November 24, 1977 to Jerry and Kelley (Cross) Lash. 

He graduated from East Noble High School in 1996 and worked as an operator in the waste water treatment plants for the City of Kendallville and the City of Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Josh also worked at Kraft Foods in Kendallville for three years.  

He was a lifetime Kendallville Volunteer Fireman.  He loved being involved with the Kendallville Fire Department and he took a fire investigation classes when he was able.  He was passionate about the gunsmithing and was taking an online course to become certified. 

Josh loved woodworking, playing softball, and bowling on the fire department bowling league. He was very close to his daughter, Jenna and loved spending time with her.  He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville.

Survivors include his daughter, Jenna Lash of Kendallville.
Mother and father, Kelley and Jerry Lash of Kendallville.
Sister, Cassandra and Brandon Lash of Avilla.
Nephews, Ethan, Baily and Elijah Lash all of Avilla.
Paternal grandmother, Phyllis Lash of Kendallville.
Maternal grandmother, Pauline Cross of Kendallville.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ormond Lash and maternal grandfather, Thomas Cross.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 2:00-8:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. No funeral service is scheduled.

Preferred memorials may be made to college scholarship fund for Jenna.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and checks should be made payable to Jerry or Kelley Lash.
