Katheryn Elizabeth"Katie" Carmichael, age 34, of Auburn, died Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.  Katie was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 25, 1983 to John Bryan Carmichael and Sara Elizabeth “Sally” (Wilondek) Thomas.

Survivors include:
Three sons, Bryan Eddingfield, Levi Eddingfield, and Ryder Klein of Auburn. 
Mother and step father, Sally and Kevin Thomas of Kendallville.
Father and step mother, John and Deanna Carmichael of Avilla.
Sister, Nichole “Nikki” Cook of Fort Wayne.
Step sister, Jessica (William) Olds of Fort Wayne.
Step sister, Melissa Thomas of Fort Wayne.
Step brother, Benjamin (Ashley) Tuffley of Kendallville.
Step brother, Kyle (Carolyn) Tuffley of Fort Wayne.
Step brother, Derek Tuffley of Kendallville.
She was preceded in death by her step brother, Travis Tuffley in 1992; maternal grandparents, Bernard “Benny” and Virginia Wilondek and paternal grandparents, Norman and Florence Carmichael. 
 
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 4:00 -8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.  No funeral service is scheduled.  Burial will take place at a later date at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.  Memorial donations may be made to her family to help pay for funeral expenses.
