Lorraine M. (Lewandowski) Tate

LORRAINE M. TATE, age 85, of Orland died on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at her rural Orland home.  Mrs. Tate was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 23, 1929 to Harry and Martha Lewandowski.  She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1947 and married John C. Tate on September 26, 1969.  She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bronson, Michigan and was also an active in the American Legion in Orland.  She loved being outside and working in her yard and garden.  She also liked being on the lake and riding in the boat.  Lorraine enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and grandkids.  Mostly, she loved spending time with her husband.

Survivors include:

Her husband, John C. Tate of Orland.
Son, Richard Dorn of Columbus, Ohio.
Son, Donald Dorn of Florida.
Son, John and Stacey Tate of Waterville, Ohio.
Son, Tim Tate of Columbus, Ohio.
Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at St. Francis De Sales Chapel, 501 Cherry Street in Toledo, Ohio. 

A second memorial mass will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church, 204 Albers Road in Bronson, Michigan.
