Margaret Ellen Strater

Margaret Ellen Strater, age 70, of Albion, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Strater was born on December 3, 1946 in Kendallville at McCray Hospital to the late Harold Ray and Ruth Jean (Haney) Strater.  Margaret graduated from Central Noble High School.  For 10 years she worked as a quality inspector at Essex in Topeka.  She was a bartender for the Eagles in Albion for 8 years.  Margaret belonged to the American Legion in Avilla and the Eagles in Albion and Kendallville.  She enjoyed bookwork and reading.
Survivors include:
Son, Bruce Strater and Karen Hill of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Ray and Patricia Strater of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Daniel and Nancy Strater of South Milford.
Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 1:00-3:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
