Mary Jane (Nusbaum) Becker

MARY JANE BECKER, age 61, of Kendallville, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, July 3, 2015.  Mrs. Becker was born in Goshen, Indiana on October 28, 1953 to the late Richard Jay Nusbaum and Velma (Kauffman) Nusbaum.  She married Ronald Lee Becker in 2000 in Kendallville. Mary worked in the deli department at Kroger in Kendallville. She was also co-owner of Water Gate Spas in Kendallville as well as The Trolley concessions.  Previously she worked at Carriage, Inc. in Millersburg for 23 years.  She loved realistic art, painting with oils, scrimshaws, and making jewelry.  She also loved her cats.  Mary was a cheerful soul, spreading love and joy to friends and strangers alike.  She made friends with everyone and she will be greatly missed.  

Survivors include: 
Her spouse, Ron Becker of Kendallville.
Daughter, Andrea Lehman of Bristol.
Son, Taylor Lehman of Indianapolis.
Step daughter, Candy Treft of Kendallville.
Step daughter, Ruthie Lehman of Portland, Oregon.
Two grandsons, Mason Lehman and Corey Treft.
One granddaughter, Trinity Treft.
Sister, Kathy Jordan of Fort Wayne. 

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd Nusbaum.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 4:00-7:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.

Visitation will also be before the funeral service on Thursday from 11:00am-1:00pm at Hite Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 1:00pm at Hite Funeral Home.

Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Bret Frymier.

Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.

Memorials may be made to Noble County Humane Society.
