Max Allen Litke, age 69, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Hospice Home in Fort Wayne following a brief illness.  Mr. Litke was born September 3, 1947 in Sturgis, Michigan to the late Henry William Litke and Helen Rosalie (Charles) Hostetler.  Max grew up in LaGrange and graduated from Lakeland High School in 1965.  He was a United States Air Force veteran and served his country during the Vietnam War.  Max was employed the past 25 years as controller with Raynor Door Authority in Fort Wayne.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Emily and Andrew VanGessel of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Elizabeth and Jeremy Goff of Rochester, New York.
Brother, Glen and Pat Litke of LaGrange.
Brother, Gary Litke of LaGrange. 
He was also preceded in death by two infant brothers, LaVon and Larry Litke. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 1st from 4:00-8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Clothier officiating.
Burial with military honors will take place at Woodruff Cemetery, LaGrange County.
Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home of Kendallville.
