Norma Jane Rogers, age 91, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.  Mrs. Rogers was born on December 5, 1926 near Coldwater, Michigan to the late George Lester Frost and Estella Harriett (Amaden) Frost.  She graduated from Avilla High School in May of 1946 and married Marion Eugene “Brownie” Rogers on April 23, 1946 in Angola, Indiana.  Brownie preceded her in death on January 20, 1999.  Norma was the bookkeeper for Newnam Foundry, Lane Foundry, Kendallville Foundry and Kendallville Fertilizer.  She was a member of First Christian Church, Delta Theta Tau Sorority and Eastern Star. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Diana and Perry Lawrence of Skinner Lake near Albion.
Daughter, Candy and John Smith of Kendallville.
Four grandchildren: Tammy Gregory of Greendale, Indiana; Scott and Susan Lawrence of Avilla; Todd and Lori Smith of LaGrange; and Lori and John Hook of Fishers, Indiana.
Six great grandchildren: Kaylee Gregory, Taylor Gregory, Samuel Lawrence, Sarah Lawrence, Sage Lawrence, and Camden Trulock.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Eugene Rogers in 1960; granddaughter, Kimberly Kay Smith in 1976; and brother, Robert L. Frost in 2017.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville with visitation from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.  Pastor Robert Farmer will officiate the funeral service.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.
Memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church.
