PAUL EDWARD HOULTON, age 74, of Corunna, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.  Mr. Houlton was born near Hamilton, Indiana on March 16, 1941 to Claude Edward Houlton and Alice Lucile (Chilcote) Houlton.  He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1959 and entered the United States Navy, proudly serving his country from 1959-1965. He married Virginia Angela Magner on October 6, 1979 in Auburn. She preceded him in death on July 29, 2014.  Paul worked in the maintenance department at Auburn Foundry for 21 years before retiring 2005.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 86 and the VFW Post 2749 in Kendallville.  Paul enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. 

Survivors include: 
Step son, Robert Harmon of Auburn.
Step son, Michael Harmon of Waterloo.
Step daughter, Mary and Russell Daniels of Waterloo.
Step daughter, Lisa and Carl DeWitt of Auburn.
Step son, Thomas and Tina Harmon of Kendallville.
Step son, Carl and Janel Harmon of Avilla.
Step daughter, Hope and David McDonald of Wawaka.
17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Sister, Mary Lou Grisham of Silver Lake near Angola.
Brother, Jerry and Karen Houlton of Hamilton, Indiana.
Four nieces and two nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 2:00-5:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home.

Burial with military honors will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.  Military honors will be conducted by members of the VFW Post 2749, American Legion Post 86, American Legion Post 381 honor guard teams and active duty troops.
