Peggy Lee Pawlowski, age 66, of Sylvan Lake, Rome City, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Pawlowski was born on March 2, 1951 in Fort Wayne to the late Arnold Conrad and Lillie Mae (Blackman) Fahlsing.  She graduated from Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne and then continued her education at the University of Saint Francis, where she earned an associates degree.  Peggy received her activities director, social services, CNA License, and Human Services certifications from Ivy Tech.  On February 14, 1996, Peggy married Scott Pawlowski.  Peggy worked at Fort Wayne Center from 1978-1995 with mentally challenged and ill individuals.  From 1996-1998 she worked at Shepherd of The Hill.  She retired from Kendallville manor as an activities director after 15 years of service.  Peggy enjoyed reading, horror movies, adult coloring books, and crossword puzzles.  She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and canine companion, Shadow.

Spouse, Scott Pawlowski of Rome City.  
Daughter, Angela and Sam Melton of Kendallville   
Granddaughter, Paige Holsinger of Fort Wayne.
Grandson, Dylan Hart of Kendallville.
Grandson, Austin Hart of Kendallville.
Great-grandson, Lucas Freer of Michigan.
Sister, Carolyn and Mike Kerns of Zanesville.
Sister, Marti and Danny Combs of New Haven.
Sister, Jeanne Conrad of Iowa.
Sister, Marianne and Eddie Reyna of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Connie and Buddy Hamilton of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Paula Waldren of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Robert Conrad of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Roger and Susan Conrad of Fort Wayne.
In-laws, Harold and Carolyn Pawlowski.
Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville, Indiana 46755 with visitation 2 hours prior from 11:00am-1:00pm.
Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Al Wingfield.
Memorial donations may be directed to St. Judes Children Hospital and or American Breast Cancer Foundation.
