Richard Allen Goble

RICHARD ALLEN GOBLE, age 81, of Rome City, died early in the morning on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at home.  Mr. Goble was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on September 7, 1934 to the late Russell Glenn Goble and Margery E. (Kruger) Goble. He served his country in the United States Army in Texas and Korea.  He married Janis Lockhard on April 4,1954 and she died as the result of a car crash on June 2, 1962.  Richard was employed at General Electric in Fort Wayne for 36 years before retiring on January 1, 1997.  He loved his children, his dogs, and hunting and fishing.

Survivors include: 
Son, Clint Goble of Auburn.
Daughter, Valerie Goble of Fort Wayne.
Grandson, Clinton J. Goble.
Sister, Joretta and Roy Kelly of Florida.
Brother, Jack Goble of Columbia City.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Rick Woods and his brothers, Donald Goble and Danny Goble.
