Richard Clark Grubb

Richard Clark Grubb, age 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Grubb was born on August 29, 1937 in Kendallville to the late Robert Lewis and Amber Ruth (Depew) Grubb.  He graduated from Kendallville High School and served his country honorably with the United States Army National Guard for over 10 years.  On September 27, 1959, he married Marianne Cross at Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne.  Richard worked as a foreman for Phelps Dodge Copper Product and Indiana Rod and Wire for 37 years before retiring.  After he retired he worked for Foamex in Auburn and did Maintenance for Heritage Park.  Richard loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hiking, and camping.  His workshop attests to his love and knowledge of working with tools.  Richard enjoyed teaching kids how to properly use tools and how to fish.  
Survivors include:
Spouse, Marianne Grubb of Fort Wayne.
Son, Richard Lewis Grubb and Courtney Dupriest of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Diane Kay and Kenneth Gaby of LaOtto.
Daughter, Peggy Anne Grubb of Fort Wayne.
Grandsons, Kenneth C. Gaby, Alex T. Miller, and Ben Miller.
4 Step-grandaughters.
Brother, David and Linda Grubb of Kendallville.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lewis Grubb Junior.

Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 3:00-7:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery.
Officiating the memorial service will be Chaplin Bob Bibbee.
Memorial donations may be directed to Shepherd House in Fort Wayne.
