Richard D. Moore

Richard D. Moore, age 79, of New Haven, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Moore was born on May 29, 1938 in Michigan to the late Lee and Doris Moore.  Richard attended Wald Lake High School and then went to serve his country honorably with the United States Army.  In 1984, He married Eleanor Stephens in Ohio.  Richard retired from T&G in 1999, where he worked in construction as a truck driver.  He belonged to the New Haven American Legion and Navy Club.  He loved music and was a musician.  He played guitar and sang for various nursing homes with Audiences Unlimited.  
Survivors include:
Son, Robert Moore and Linda Robinson of New Haven.
Son, Rick Moore of Yakima, Washington.
Son, Ralph Moore of Yakima.
Daughter, Ronda Moore of Yakima.
Daughter, Roxeanne Moore of Yakima.
Step-son, Mike Mader of New Haven.
Step-daughter, Michelle and Calvin Babb of Florida.  
Several grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
Brother, Larry and Patty Moore of Florida.
Sister, Geraldean Moore of Michigan. 

Richard was preceded in death by sons; Ray and Roy Moore, step-daughter; Roxeanne Mader, Brothers; Bob, Louie, and Jim Moore.

Graveside services with military honors will take place on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:00am at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, 1109 Hartzell Road, New Haven, Indiana 46774.
Celebration of life service is to follow the cemetery immediately at the New Haven Navy Club.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Navy Club in New Haven.
