Shirley Mae Ogilbee, age 67, of Avilla died Monday, September 4, 2017 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn.  Shirley was born December 17, 1949 in Hindman, Kentucky to the late Farris Combs and Margaret (Patrick) Combs.  She was first married in 1968 to Vern Moore of Kendallville.  Later she married Harold Albert “Zeke” Ogilbee, Jr. on August 30, 2001 in Paris, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2009.  

Survivors include:
Daughter, Wendy McCoy of Garrett.
Granddaughter, Ariel McCoy of Garrett.
Grandson, Justin McCoy of Garrett.
Sister, Geraldine McCain of Circleville, Ohio.
Sister, Marie (Leon) Lively of Lenior City, Tennessee.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Retha Ritchie; and three brothers, Herman Combs, Junior Ray Combs, Lawrence Combs and Johnny D. Combs.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Visitation will also be held Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service.
Private burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery.
