Stanley Winn

Stanley Winn, age 78, of Fort Wayne, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.  Mr. Winn was born on January 3, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Harry and Dorothy (Schuster) Winn.  He attended Elmhurst High School and then served his country honorably with the United States Air Force in France during the Berlin Crisis.  On September 7, 1963 he married Marilyn J. Bland at First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Fort Wayne.  He was very proud to be a veteran and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Soest Church in Fort Wayne as well as the “Carpenter’s Helpers.”  Stanley enjoyed and spent many hours building his street rod.  

Survivors include:
Wife, Marilyn Winn of Fort Wayne.
Son, Eric and Becky Winn of Monroeville.
Daughter, Melissa and Jim Reinking of Bluffton.
Grandchildren, Emily and John Manning, Elisa Shively, Kalene Winn and Kiersten Winn.
Great-grandchildren, Madison Manning and Everett Stanley Manning.
A special friend, Sidnie Bienz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Emmanuel Lutheran Soest, 9909 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816.  
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00am with visitation one-hour prior at 10:00am at Emmanuel Lutheran Soest.
Burial with Military Honors will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Officiating the funeral services is Pastor Dave Griebel.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Soest Church or Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
