Steve Fisher

STEVE FISHER, age 59, of Wolcottville died on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born in Fort Wayne on May 25, 1956 to Russell and Edna (Sweet) Fisher.

Steve honorably served his country in the United States Navy.

He married Donna Johnson on July 13, 1985 in Auburn. She survives in Wolcottville.

Steve worked the last 10 years as a computer analyst for Nucor Fastener in St. Joe.

He absolutely positively loved the Lord and Steve loved to play gospel music.  He was able to share his love of the Lord and gospel music by traveling to 52 nursing homes a year during a 5 year span sharing his musical talent with others.  He enjoyed woodworking, leatherworking, fishing, playing Jenga and buying and selling on ebay.  Steve loved spending time with his grandkids and he was known to family and friends as “the world's best pizza maker!”

His wife; Donna Fisher, of Wolcottville.
His parents; Edna and Ed Heck of Fort Wayne.
Daughter; Mandy and Mark Cline of Butler.
Daughter; Kelly and Tim Fetters of Tennessee.
Daughter; Stephanie and Josh Rurka of Wolcottville.
Five grandchildren; Zackary Cline, Victoria Fetters, Clinton Fetters, Zoey Rurka and Collin Rurka.
Sister; Melody Lafferty of Atlanta, Georgia.
Two nephews; Timothy and Michelle Lafferty (Abigail) and Christopher Lafferty both of Atlanta, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his father; Russell Fisher.

A gathering of friends will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Destiny Family of Faith Church, 445 North Riley Street in Kendallville.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 5:00 PM at Destiny Family of Faith Church in Kendallville.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Steven Henry from Atlanta, Georgia.

Preferred memorials may be made to directed to the family.
