Susan Elizabeth Lehman, age 64, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Ms. Lehman was born on June 6, 1953, in Norwalk, Ohio to Galen and Mary Louease "M.L." (Wagner) Lehman. She graduated from Snider High School 1971. In 1976, she graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. She worked for Pine Valley Country Club as an executive secretary from 1979-1989. Susan was also employed at Indiana Purdue University of Fort Wayne (IPFW) in the financial aid department from 1989-2016. She was a member of the Saint Joseph United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne and sang in their choir. Susan was very artistic and loved painting outdoor landscape scenery. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed rescuing cats. Susan loved Star-Trek and attended a convention where she was able to meet some of the cast. The display of her food and cooking was exceptional and she loved to prepare special occasion meals for family and friends. Susan enjoyed traveling by train, wearing big hats, writing and growing flowers in her garden. Susan had a strong faith in god and loved to help others.

Nephew, Jason Levy of Fort Wayne.
Nephew, Greg Waikel of Fremont.
Nephew, Scott G. Criswell of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Tracy Lehman.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 12:00pm with calling two-hours prior from 10:00am-12:00pm at St. Joseph United Methodist Church, 6004 Reed Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46835. Memorial donations may be directed to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary and any Animal Rescue of the donor's choice.
