Victoria C. (Romaneck) Walzer

Victoria C. Walzer, age 94, of McClish Lake near Hudson, passed away at home on Saturday, June 4, 2016.  She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on September 18, 1921 to the late Jacob and Mary Romaneck.  Victoria retired from General Electric in 1982.  She was an active member of Saint Mary’s of the Angels Catholic Church on Big Long Lake and a longtime volunteer at Parkview Noble Hospital.

She is survived by her son, James Walzer; grandchildren: Katherine, Tatiana, Gustave, Kristen and Karley Walzer; and two great granddaughters.  Also many loving nieces, nephews and close friends survive her as well.  Victoria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Walter; her son, Jack; as well as her two siblings, Betty Wisniewski and Jack Romaneck.

A memorial mass will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 a 11:00 am at St. Mary’s of the Angels Catholic Church, on Big Long Lake, 5965 S. 1025 E., near Hudson, Indiana.  Fr. Jacob Gall will conduct the mass.  There will be a luncheon served at the church following the service.
