Virginia M. (Lohr) Harwood

Virginia M. (Lohr) Harwood, age 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 17, 2016 at Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne.  Ms. Harwood was born on May 21, 1926 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late George "August" and Mary "May" (Nehrenz) Lohr.  She graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne.  Virginia worked as a secretary for General Electric for 13 years.  Virginia was an avid reader and loved books.  She spent many hours listening to country music including her favorites, "Alan Jackson" and "Neil Diamond."  She also enjoyed traveling, cruises and zebra print items. 
Survivors include:
Daughter, Vicki and Steven Bahls of Leo.
Daughter, Valerie and Paul Rolandelli of Baltimore, Maryland.
Daughter, Laurie and John Arnold of Union, Michigan.
7 Grandchildren.
9 Great-grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Chet, and Bob Lohr; and one sister, Miriam Lohr.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, Janaury 20, 2017 at 2:00pm at Lutheran Life villages, 6723 South Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816 with visitation one hour prior from 1:00-2:00pm.
Burial will take place in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery.
Officiating the funeral services will be Pastor Mike Wakeland.
Memorial donations may be directed to Lutheran Life Villages and or Heartland Hospice.
