This is actually Misty, Mikes daughter. My Dad just got out of the hospital with a heart attack and stroke. Dad wanted me to let you know that he is thinking of your family and always loved Flora. Dee said that she was always such a kind woman. I remember going to her house when I was a little girl. My brother and I always loved her. We are praying for your family and wish that we could have come.

Nanny,
I don't know where to begin. I first want to say sorry that I wasn't there with you when you needed me most. Nanny time has passed by so fast but I can't be anything but grateful for the time I got to spend with you. Everyday further from the last time I saw you kills me inside...but that's alright because everyday further from the last time is one day closer to the next time I get to see you. All I do is replay your voice in my head...you saying that you're going to wait for me at those pearly gates, and that keeps me looking forward to the day that Jesus calls me home too! I miss you more than I can put into words...but I just want to say thank you. Not only for all the inspiration, but for the love and the care and the prayers and the hope and just...everything. Nan..your prayers brought me home..and home is where I'm going to stay, because I know in my heart that you're still here with me. You're still here...holding my hand and taking each and every step with me. You promised that you'd never leave me alone, I still feel you, and sometimes I can almost hear you. I love you more than you'll ever know. I will see you soon<3

Love,
Your Granddaughter That Loves & Misses You More Than Anything*
