Don was always one of my favorite people. I looked up to him in High School (he was two years ahead of me) and was pleased that we became related. I will always remember the Christmas he let me drive one of his restored Jaguars. And then there was the time he took me for a ride in his drag racing Corvette.....Yee Hah!!! I am glad that I got to know him and I will definitely miss him.

Jenny, Lisa and the rest of the family: I am so sorry for your loss and our loss as your extended family. Don was a fine fellow - one who will be missed by all who knew him. Please know that all of Ruth Walkup Hall's children love you and send prayers your way. I always enjoyed his easy smile and loved watching him with his grandsons. All were blessed to be part of his life. God bless you and the rest of your wonderful family...

Jenny, Lisa, Millie and Family,
I am so grateful that my career allowed me to travel to different locations so I would have the chance to get to know Don, Jenny and your family. I truly enjoyed the emails and talks we would share together. It is not everyday that I get to know a member outside of the credit union. You all will be forever in my heart. If there is anything I can do please let me know, I am here for you during this difficult time.

Dear Jenny and family,
My mother Ruth Walkup Hall and sister Sandra Clay gave me the sad news of Don passing yesterday. Our heart felt prayers are with you, our love for you knows no bounds. Your mother is a treasure and a tower of strength for you to lean on in your time of loss. I always love the message of John 14 and offer it as comfort that love never dies. Hug everyone of my dear Walkup family for me. A special hug for you and for Pearl from Connie.
