My prayers are with you all!! I had a lot of laughs with your mom and many good memories when I stayed at your house!! She and your family will be in my thoughts. Rest in peace Gloria. I know when you arrived up there the first thing you did was get your hair done and buy some lipstick!! Say hello to Ellis and your mom for me!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your mom and I had a lot of fun times together. She always welcomed me in her home no matter how long I stayed!! I will miss her "black hamburgers", porkchops with mushroom gravy, fried potatoes and onions and fried eggs. The last time I spoke to Gloria was two weeks ago inthe hospital when I asked for the recipe for her own special potato salad. Gloria put the meaning in "cast iron skillet". We had many laughs when your family lived on Highway 6. I especially remember the fun in your little living room in front of the white Christmas Tree she decorated so proudly, the guniea pig she bottle fed and lived to be like fifty years old, and her polyester pantsuits. I know when she arrived in Heaven the first thing she did was make an appointment to get her hair done and buy a tube of lipstick. Rest in peace Gloria the memories you created will hold a special place in my heart!!

I'm so sorry to hear about Gloria "Dolly". That was what we called her growing up out at Lisbon. Her mom, Herbie and she were our second family. I have a lot of happy childhood memories of her. We have kept in touch over the years as we have grown older. She and her mom came to one of our family reunions a few years ago and it was so good to see her.
I will miss her letters and Christmas cards
My prayers are with her family.
