KENNETH G. HALE, age 55, of Kendallville died on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne.

 He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 12, 1954 to the late Kenneth R. and Sarah (Glidwell) Hale.

 Mr. Hale graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1993.                      

 

He married Hazel Fields on June 2, 2001 in LaGrange, Indiana.  She survives in Kendallville.

 

Mr. Hale worked at Redman Homes in Topeka for several years until 2000.  After working at Redman Homes he worked for Starcraft in Topeka from 2000 until 2003.

 

He was a attended the Independent Baptist Church in South Milford and he was a member of the Kendallville Fraternal Order of Eagles in Kendallville.


Mr. Hale enjoyed fishing, hunting, canoeing, drawing, painting, camping and being around his family and friends.

 

Survivors include:

wife; Hazel Hale of Kendallville
one son; Daniel and Gwen Hale of New Whiteland, Indiana
two daughters; Jessica Dugan
Melissa Hale of Las Vegas, Nevada
one step-son; Larry Bolen Jr. of Kendallville
one step-daughter; Kristie and William Frank of Kendallville
Thirteen grandchildren; Noah Hale, Daniel Hale, Kira Dugan, Morgan Dugan, Jordan Dugan, Kaia Patty, Carley Dugan, Jordan Frank, Danielle Frank, Austin Bolen, Kaylee Bolen, Skyler Bolen and Madalynn Bolen
one brother and three sisters
mother-in-law; Gladys Owens of Kendallville
three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law and their spouses
 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers 

 

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2010, after 2:00PM with an evening service at 6:00PM at the Independent Baptist Church in South Milford.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Independent Baptist Church, South Milford.

Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Earl  Bolen.

Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville, Indiana.

Preferred Memorials may be made to directed to the Hale Family.
