LUELLA MCCLISH, age 90, died on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.
Mrs. McClish was born in Fort Wayne on November 1, 1919 to the late John and Irene (Kiper) Heine.
 
She graduated from Flower Technical High School in Chicago in 1937 and married her husband, Hayes L. McClish on June 8, 1940 in Kendallville and he preceded in death February 10, 1994.
Luella was a homemaker and seamstress and attended First Christian Church in Kendallville.
 
She volunteered at the Nutrition Site in Kendallville for 12 years and was a member of the LaGrange County Homemakers Club for many years.
She was past president and member of the Helmer United Methodist Church, Women's Society of Christian Service. Luella loved to read books, and work crossword puzzles
.
 
Survivors include her four sons and daughters-in-law:
Arthur and Susan McClish of Columbia City.
Dan and Pat McClish of Deltona, Florida.
Fred and Linda McClish of Bluffton.
Bill and Kathy McClish of Big Long Lake.
9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Brother-in-law, Carl and Mary Folk, Jr. of Ligonier.
 
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2010, from 4:00-8:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home.
Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Dr. Thomas Clothier.
Burial will be at Fairfield Center Cemetery in Corunna, Indiana.
Casketbearers will be her grandsons; Brad Darr, Ben Darr, Jeff McClish, Brian McClish, Jeremy McClish, and Ted Shoudel.
Preferred Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
