My parents pre-planned their funerals years ago and it was a simple and easy process.

This week my mom passed away and those services were needed for the first time. The staff have gone above and beyond to make one of the worst days as smooth and flawless as possible.

Brian has been outstanding, professional and courteous. I live out of state and emailed her obituary and later her photo and he has those posted and responded immediately to requests.

The visitation was hosted by Sue and she was just as amazing. Sue was available for anything that we needed and answered questions as they arose.

My family and I have and will continue to promote this facility. They are fair and honest and will help you with all the planning until the day your loved is at the final resting place.

I lost my husband to covid 19 on November the 1st 2021. I had no idea where to turn, what companies to call where to start.. From the very 1st phone call ,all the way through the entire process, the gentleman helping me made himself available to me whenever I needed it, Either via phone call or text. Today we layed my mother to rest. I am very thankful for Brian. He went above and beyond. My mother was very sick and he made her look beautiful again. He has a God given talent and I will always be grateful.

On February 14th of this year my husband Isaac Binkerd passed away at Millers Merry Manor E. We had given the Nursing Home the number of Hite's Funeral Home to call and they called them after we left the Nursing Hiome. The next morning when we went to get Ike's things they told us that the person who piked up Ike said that Brian De-Camp would be calling us this morning some time and he did. We had never met Brian before but we were very pleased when we did meet him. He explained everything to us in a way that was very understandable and was also very willing to do things we wanted done. It was very helpful to have Brian to ask the questions we did not know the answers to. We could feel very comfortable about asking him anything and he was there from the time he brought the casket to the church until after we left the service at the graveyard. The military service was very nice and one of my sons is in the Air National Guard and he was impressed with it. I want to thank Brian for all his help and to say I would reccomend Hite Funeral Home to any friend of mine. Thank you so much for everything!. Gloria

Several years ago our parents prepared their funeral arrangements with Veterans Funeral Care. It was scary when we were given a business card size paper stating to call an 800 number at the time of death and they would take care of the body and someone would be in touch to start planning the upcoming days. Brian DeCamp contacted us in a very timely manner to set up the first appointment. What a blessing to have Brian and the staff of Hite Funeral Home guide us through a very difficult time. From the first time we met with Brian to the playing of Taps at the cemetery, Brian was there to help, support and guide us. We got to meet the staff along the way when we took a road trip to Kendallville - again very caring and attentive. Our mom has plenty of spunk and will live many more years but it is nice to know we will have the opportunity to again work with Hite Funeral Home. Thank you so much for your care and guidance!

Hite Funeral Home is a very professional, top notch funeral home. The staff was very caring and pays attention to the details. My mother looked absolutely amazing! The funeral home itself was very spacious with comfortable seating and the kitchenette is very nice for refreshments. I can't think of a thing to fault them on.

Everything we asked for was done just like we wanted. Brian DeCamp, our funeral director, was available any time we needed him. He was also very kind to our family and friends. He will take care of me when I pass. I know I will be in good hands.

Bobby's life centered around his friends and 4 legged friends from the rescue center. People at the funeral home were amazing and so comfortable and loving that the dogs where allowed in the funeral home. Everyone thought it was so awesome! So did we.

Brian was very helpful considering Tom's death was very quick after his diagnosis. No plans had been make and Hite Funeral Home. Brian made things as easy as possible for us.

Brian has handled most of my wife's family services. Brian handled Jeannie's, as well as previous services with a caring professional manner and dignity to the deceased as well as surviving family. I would recommend Brian to anyone.
