Betty Lynn Handshoe, age 61, formerly of Kendallville, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at her residence in Fort Wayne. Ms. Handshoe was born June 9, 1957 in Kendallville, Indiana to the late Arnold and Flora (Harmon) Handshoe.

Survivors include:
Son, Curtis Pruitt and his fiancé, Alyssa Taylor both of Wolcottville.
Two grandchildren, Addison Pruitt and Emmie Pruitt.
Sister, Jeanette Mansfield of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Hazel and Carroll Ensley of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Sister, Ellen and Jeff Hicks of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Judy Boyd of Kendallville.
Brother, Wayne and Lois Handshoe of Kendallville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leslie Handshoe; niece, Judy (Boyd) Martin and her husband, Les Martin; brother-in-law, James Robert Boyd, Sr., and nephews, James Robert Boyd, III and Richard Lightner.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville with visitation prior to the service from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Rev. Worley Gibson will officiate the service.
Burial will take place at Christian Union Cemetery near Garrett.
