Carol J. (Lengacher) Ruch

Carol J. (Lengacher) Ruch, age 74, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord on the evening of Monday, December 18, 2017. Carol was born on April 20, 1943 in Hicksville, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Leona L. (Mast) Lengacher.  She graduated from Hicksville High School in 1960, and worked at the Teamsters Local 414 in Fort Wayne for over 20 years.  She loved knitting, convertible cars, and collecting antique dolls. She was proud of her Amish heritage, and cherished her family above all else. She will be missed more than words can express.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Daria and Mark Urben of Chesterfield, Michigan.
Daughter, Tara Duer of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Cara Duer of Wichita, Kansas.
Grandchildren, Ryan Randolph, Kyra Duer, Brittany Bruner, and Brianna Pilling.
6 Great-grandchildren.
Sister, Sandi Tomlinson of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Jim and Judi Lengacher of New Haven.
Sister, Hope and Randy Wright of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Lengacher and brother-in-law, Don Tomlinson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Lutheran Life Villages, 6723 South Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816.
Burial will take place on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10:30am at Yaggy Cemetery near Harlan.
A funeral service will take place after the burial on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 12:30pm at Lutheran Life Villages, 6723 South Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816.
Officiating the services will be Pastor Douglas Punke.
