CHARLOTTE ANN DONAT, age 78, of Kendallville, died on Thursday, June  8, 2017 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.  She was born in Kendallville, IN on July 13, 1938 to William Richard and Alice Ione (Kresse) Gohn.  She graduated from Rome City  High School in 1957.   She worked as a bank teller since 1971, starting out at American State Bank in Ligonier then ventured to Shipshewana State Bank for five years, and then Community State Bank in Albion and Avilla for 13 years.  Charlotte retired in 2003 but still worked partime at the bank when needed.  She was a member of the Eastern Star Sylvan Lodge for 25 years.  Charlotte loved NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhart fan.  She enjoyed yard work and taking care of her flowers, her cats, visiting with friends and family, and reading.
Survivors include: 
Daughter, Anita Marie and Terry Russell of Kendallville.
Daughter, Denise Lottero of Kendallville.
Daughter, Jamye and Brian Bley of Kendallville.
Son, Kenny  Gohn  and Dawn Bixby of Kendallville
Nine grandchilren: Tiffany Ferguson of Kendallville, Jack Clements of Kendallville, Jessica Russell of Howe, Mark Wentworth of Kendallville, Nicole Treesh of Kendallville, Courtney Thieme of Kendallville, Megan Hartley of Tennessee, Nathan Haynes of Kendallville, and Hilary Didier of Roanoke.
Twenty-one great grandchildren
Half brother, Henry Jones of South Carolina
Half brother, Edmond Jones of Wawaka
Cousin, Betty Parker of Kendallville
She was preceded in death by parents and her aunt, Bonnie Hohman.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 4:00pm-7:00pm  at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville.
Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Dr. Dan Barker.
Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville, Indiana.
Preferred Memorials may be made to Alzhiemers Association.
