Christopher Duane Streb, age 48, of Kendallville, died January 5, 2019.  Chris was born in Kendallville, Indiana on October 1, 1970 to the late Charles Duane “Chuck” Streb and Stella May (Amburgey) Streb who were owners of "The Chuckwagon" in Kendallville in the past.  Chris married Nicole Danielle Weaver on September 22, 2010 in Kendallville. Over the years, Chris was employed with Reliable Tool, International Wire and Brown & Sons all in Kendallville. He was a phenomenal father and a wonderful dad.  He had a contagious smile and was always smiling.  He was a Christian who loved Jesus and lived to serve others.  Chris was the “music man”.  He loved playing his guitar, music and singing.  He was really good at martial arts, karate, break dancing, and he loved BMX riding and dirt bike riding.  He loved all of his cousins, nieces, nephews, and his many friends.  Chris really loved people and he showed it on his face, in his eyes, and with his smile.

Survivors include:
Wife, Nicole Streb of Kendallville.
Son, Chris Streb and his mother, Cathy Berry both of Kendallville.
Daughter, Micah Streb of Kendallville.
Brother, Jeremy and Tara Streb of Kendallville.
Brother, Steve and Maureen Streb of Missouri.
Brother, Pete and Sharon Streb of Kansas.
Sister, Sherry Rigsby of Kendallville.
Sister, Kelly Prouty of LaGrange.
Mother-in-law, Petra and Don Papai of Avilla.
Father-in-law, Max and LaDena Weaver of Avilla.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Chuck in 1990 and Stella in 1994; his brother, Rick Streb, paternal grandparents, Harold and Gertrude Streb; maternal grandparents, John Amburgey and Myrtle Burkett. 

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held also on Saturday at 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home. Pastor Nathan Mosley will officiate the memorial service.  
Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
