Christine Raypole (Sheets) Hellwig

Christine Raypole Hellwig, age 72, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at her residence in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Hellwig was born on January 2, 1946 in Kendallville, Indiana to Paul Sibert Sheets and Evelyn Grace Raypole.  She graduated from Kendallville High School then obtained a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Indiana University.  Christine worked as a physical therapist for Byron Health Center and Heartland Home Health for over 30 years.  She loved to cook and enjoyed having baking events with friends.  Christine loved to spend time with family and loved ones.
Survivors include:
Son, Joe Hellwig of Kendallville.
Grandson, Kyler Hellwig of Kendallville.
Many nieces and nephews.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Mary Zerkle and Paula Byers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
Memorial donations may be directed to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
